Srinagar, October 5
A large-scale free medical camp was successfully organized at the sacred Astaana-i-Aliya of Gous-ul-Azam Peer Dastgeer Sahib (RA), benefitting hundreds of devotees attending the annual Urs celebrations.
The initiative was held under the guidance of Azeeta Qurashi, Under Secretary, Public Grievance Cell, Governor’s Office, and was jointly supported by Medicare Hospital, Karan Nagar, Srinagar, and the G. R. Beigh Memorial Foundation, a reputed NGO known for its community welfare efforts.
During the camp, around 700 patients were examined and treated by a team of doctors and paramedical staff, while free medicines were distributed among the attendees. The camp aimed to provide quality healthcare to the devotees and to promote a spirit of compassion and service in line with the teachings of Hazrat Gous-ul-Azam (RA).
The organizers expressed gratitude to all volunteers, medical professionals, and supporting institutions whose collective effortsl ensured the success of the noble event.
