As part of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, Awantipora Police, in an operation headed by SHO Police Station Khrew, Inspector Naieem Rashid, during routine patrolling conducted in coordination with the SDPO, seized four (04) L&T machines from Ladhoo, Khrew. The machines were found to be involved in illegal mining activities.
Accordingly, a case has been registered under relevant sections of law, and investigation has been taken up to identify all persons involved and to prevent recurrence of such illegal activities.
