Locals in Padshahi Bagh Under the banner of Youth welfare Committee KP bagh staged a protest on Wednesday demanding immediate repair and restoration of the main road in the area, which they said has been lying in a dilapidated condition for years.

The aggrieved locals took to the road, blocking traffic for a brief period to draw the attention of the authorities. Speaking to media General Secretary Aijaz Aziz Shah said that despite repeated appeals to the concerned departments, no concrete action has been taken to improve the road, which has become nearly unusable due to potholes, stagnant water, and broken surface patches.

“Padshahi Bagh road has turned into a nightmare for commuters and pedestrians alike. We have approached officials several times, but our requests are ignored every time: he said
They urged the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) and Roads and Buildings Department to take swift action and start repair work without further delay.
