Jammu, January 4: A constable of the Railway Protection Force sustained a bullet injury in an accidental fire at the railway station in Govindsar, Kathua district.
Officials told GNS that a constable of the RPF received a bullet injury in his left shoulder after his service revolver went off accidentally. He was immediately shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment.
He has been identified as Dinesh Kumar son of Uttam Chand resident of Gurha Satura, Hiranagar.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
