Kulgam Police Provides Prompt and Life-Saving Assistance Amid Heavy Snowfall

Amid intense snowfall across various parts, Kulgam police demonstrated swift response and humanitarian commitment by extending timely assistance to people in distress at multiple locations.

Today, a distress call seeking immediate assistance for a dialysis patient was received from village Guddar, Devsar. Acting swiftly, amid heavy snowfall, a special police team of police station Devsar was constituted, who promptly reached the spot and safely shifted the patient to District Hospital Kulgam for necessary medical treatment.

Moreover, in an another incident; Police personnel deployed near the Navyug Tunnel extended timely assistance by pushing an ambulance that had become stranded due to slippery road conditions. The swift and selfless effort ensured that the patient was safely moved ahead without delay, thereby saving a precious life.

Meanwhile, on the directions of SSP Kulgam Shri Anayat Ali Chowdhary-IPS special police assistance teams are deployed at various locations especially on Highway and far flung areas for providing assistance to the vehicles stuck due to slippery roads.
