In a deeply moving outreach, Congress leader and artist Er. Danish Reshi visited the fire-affected families of Dukani Sangeen, Fateh Kadal, who are currently scattered across temporary accommodations, struggling to rebuild their lives and livelihoods amid the unforgiving winter chill.

During the visit, Reshi interacted with the distressed families, listened to their grievances, and assured them that their suffering will not go unheard. The survivors expressed immense hardship—loss of homes, loss of security, and the unbearable uncertainty of the days ahead.

Calling the situation “heart-wrenching and urgent,” Reshi appealed to the District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, to take immediate note of the crisis and expedite all possible relief, rehabilitation, and support measures for the affected households.

He stressed that in moments of such profound loss, timely intervention and compassionate governance are not just administrative duties but moral responsibilities.
