Srinagar/Jammu, Dec 23 : The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday announced the schedule for winter vacations in all Government Degree Colleges across the Union Territory.
As per an order issued by the Higher Education Department as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Government Degree Colleges falling under the Winter Zone in both Kashmir Division and Jammu Division will observe winter vacations from December 24, 2025, to February 14, 2026.
Meanwhile, Government Degree Colleges of the Jammu Division falling under the Summer Zone will remain closed for winter vacations from January 1, 2026, to February 10, 2026.
The order has been issued in the interest of administration and will be applicable to all Government Degree Colleges in the respective zones. The directions have been issued with the approval of the competent authority.
