With profound grief and a heavy heart, we mourn the untimely demise of Khwaja Syed Mohammed Nizami, a revered Shaikh-e-Tariqaat and torchbearer of the noble Chishti silsilah. His passing in a tragic accident has left an irreplaceable void in the spiritual landscape and in the hearts of countless murīdeen and well-wishers.
Belonging to the illustrious lineage of Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya, he carried forward the sacred legacy through his distinguished forefathers — his grandfather Khwaja Hasan Nizami, a scholar of immense repute, and his uncle Khwaja Hasan Sani Nizami. Through them, he inherited not only lineage (nasab), but the living transmission of ilm, adab, and tazkiyah.
Hazrat Khwaja Syed Mohammed Nizami was known for his humility, spiritual insight, and unwavering dedication to the path of love, service, and remembrance of Allah. His khānqāh remained a sanctuary of solace and guidance for seekers across generations. He upheld the Chishti ethos of compassion, inclusivity, and devotion with dignity and quiet strength.
At this painful hour, we extend our deepest condolences to his respected family, the sajjada-nasheen household, and all his murīdeen and devotees worldwide. We share in your grief and pray for patience (ṣabr jamīl) and strength.
May Allah ﷻ envelop him in His infinite mercy, illuminate his grave, elevate his درجات in Jannat al-Firdaws, and unite him with the righteous among the awliyā’.
